Can I use my wrap/enhancer in place of an actual wedding band?
My fiance and I are getting married soon and we just went and picked out an enhancer for my engagement ring. Our thinking is that we can just use it as the wedding band. I would have just gotten a band but the shape of my ring/diamond repeatedly didn't look right with any band. The diamond is pear shaped and the ring is thin but isn't just a flat band so that is why it was hard to find another band to fit it correctly. I was told just to wear the enhancer closest to my heart and let it take the place of the band. I am interested in seeing what others opinions on this are. And just another note....I am thinking that if it is necessary...now that I have the enhancer a wedding band may actually sit up to the ring better now....they are soldering the enhancer and engagement ring together.
My wife and I used the enhancer as the wedding band. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. She just had to go without her engagement ring for about a week between when it was soldered and the ceremony.
In the end, do what ever will make you the most happy. The ring will be on your finger for a long time.

She is a wonderful woman who would accept anything I gave her. I just want her to have one that can hold its own with her peers. I know it's not about competition, but I sincerely believe that she is better than her peers and I want the ring to reflect that.
She would be crazy not to love that ring. Kudos for having good taste, its a gorgeous design! I'm about that age and my diamond is about that size, maybe smaller, but the ring so beautiful I wouldn't trade it for a ring with a 5 carat diamond on it. So, she should really love it.
On another note, why do people feel the need to constantly preach about "its not about the ring its about the commitment blah blah blah my man got me a plastic ring from walmart and we're happy" when that's not the question, he just wants to know if its a nice ring. Ugh

How do I clean my diamond ring?
I've been searching for a way to clean my diamond engagement ring at home.
It's 14 carat white gold.
I've read that toothpaste is popular, but not to use it.
